NV College Support Workers Creative Workshop

NV College, in Coffs Harbour, is really pleased to host a Support Workers Creative Workshop. The purpose of the day is to encourage support workers to bring the individuals they support to a relaxed workshop, to enjoy some fun craft activities together.

It’s happening on Thursday, 3rd July from 10am to 2pm at our office, 34 Moonee Street, Coffs Harbour.

The creative activities that are being offered include:

  • Pot-a-plant – your client can take home a flower they have potted.
  • Biscuit decorating – your client can create their favourite design on biscuits and eat them.
  • Mandala rock painting – your client can paint and take home a decorated stone.

“This event offers a great opportunity for your clients to enjoy engaging and fun activities,” said Jacqui Boaden, Lead Trainer and Assessor, NV College.

“And it’s also a great opportunity for our students, studying their Certificate III in Individual Support CHC33021, to get hands-on experience. They’ll develop practical skills needed to support people confidently.”

The workshop will be a great opportunity for meaningful learning. We hope it’ll be a fun experience for support workers, their clients and NV College students and our staff.
