Care Ready, is NV College’s pre-employment short course, which prepares our students for what a career in care might look like for them with hands on work experience included.
For those who complete the Care Ready course and are interested in pursuing a career in care NV College arranges interviews with potential local aged care businesses, where students can complete their traineeships, enabling them to learn and also earn at the same time.
Our most recent Care Ready students in Macksville are getting ready for their interviews next week for potential traineeship places in Kempsey, Macksville, Nambucca Heads and Coffs Harbour and we wish them good luck with receiving placements.
If a student receives a placement and successfully completes their traineeships and Certificate III in Individual Support, they will have the skills needed to work in residential care, disability care, or home and community care.
If you’ve ever considered a career in care, our next Care Ready course commences at our brand-new college location in Coffs Harbour on the 22nd October. The course will run over six days across two weeks.
NV College have a limited number of subsidised places remaining so get in contact today to express your interest.
If you are looking for a hands on course and a career in aged care, home and community care or disability care, give us a call for more information on 1300 655 224 or view our courses here.
