Traineeship Support Care Worker Pre-employment Training Program

(CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support – Statement of Attainment)

Local industry partners are currently recruiting for their next intake of Trainees and are looking for staff to provide care support in a home care or aged care environment. No experience is necessary. This is a chance for people entering the workforce or those thinking about a career change. Successful applicants will be selected from this pre-employment training program.

o  If selected, complete the Pre-employment Care Ready course.

o Attend an Employer interview.

o Work-based Traineeships may be offered to successful students, who will then complete their full qualification in CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support.

Course details

CHCAGE013 Work effectively in aged care
CHCDIS020 Work effectively in disability support
HLTWHS002 Follow safe work practices for direct client care

You must have the legal right to work in Australia (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa).

 

Delivery is face to face.

The course is delivered for nine days over three weeks (3 each week).

Upon successful completion of this accredited course, participants receive a Statement of Attainment.

Successful students will continue their CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support certificate under a work-based Traineeship or under a Fee for Service arrangement.
