This qualification is designed for those who are passionate about working to provide disability support to others. Building on your industry experience, this course will take you from the foundations of disability services, through to more advanced practices and leadership skills. This course is particularly suited to those currently working in the Disability Support sector wanting to gain advanced skills and
knowledge to further their professional and career development.
This qualification comprises of 10 units of competency of which the following 7 are core units:

| HLTWHS003 | Maintain work health and safety |

You must have completed a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).
Access to a computer with word processing, email, Zoom/other, PDF reader capabilities and an internet connection.
Language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) levels that indicate you have a high probability of being able to successfully complete the course.
Ability to allocate appropriate study hours per week- average 10 hours per week
This course is delivered online and is 12 months in duration. There are fortnightly 1/1 coaching sessions and you can enrol anytime.

Your employer or work-placement can be located elsewhere along the Mid-North Coast. We will discuss options with you prior to your commencement.
Upon successful completion of this accredited course, students receive a CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support, including a record of results.
