This qualification reflects the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or community based environments. Workers will take responsibility for their own outputs within defined organisation guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery.
This qualification comprises of 18 units of competency of which the following 15 are core units:

The most common pathway into the Certificate IV is our Certificate III in Individual Support.
Unique Student Identifier (USI) – You will need to provide your USI number at enrolment. If you do not have one, please visit www.usi.gov.au and follow the links to ‘Create a USI’. You will be required to provide identification evidence to obtain a USI.
As part of the student entry procedure, we require students to undertake a standardised Language Literacy and Numeracy (LNN) assessment. The results help us to identify a student learning needs prior to training starting.
