This accredited course is scheduled over two days in our Coffs Harbour college.
It includes pre-course reading and online-theory completion plus a one-day face to face workshop.
For those enrolling in First Aid, CPR is included in the course delivery.

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid includes:
1 – Respond to an emergency situation.
2- Apply appropriate first aid procedures.
– HLTAID009 – Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with ARC guidelines.
3- Communicate details of the incident.
4- Review the incident.
While there are no entry requirements for this course, a degree of physical ability is required to undertake the course.
Unique Student Identifier (USI) – You will need to provide your USI number at enrolment. If you do not have one, please visit www.usi.gov.au and follow the links to ‘Create a USI’. You will be required to provide identification evidence to obtain a USI.
Delivery is face-to-face. Participants complete online theory prior to the day of the practical workshop.
The face-to-face practical component of the course is delivered is over one day. It is a requirement for online theory to be completed prior.

Upon successful completion of this accredited course, participants receive an HLTAID011 Provide First Aid & HLTAID009 Provide CPR Statement of Attainment.
The First Aid unit of competency is a stand-alone course but can count as an elective towards various qualifications. This depends on a qualification’s packaging rules.
